O artigo foca a esperança cristã como uma atitude escatológica do cristão perante o futuro da salvação, que não pode ser entendida como uma realidade separada da dimensão histórica. De forma sintética e objetiva, o artigo relaciona a esperança escatológica e a práxis social: os cristãos no êxodo ao Reino definitivo. O núcleo do artigo dá-se acerca da reflexão escatológica do “já” e do “ainda não”, ou seja, uma tentativa para demonstrar de que forma a escatologia cristã requer do cristão uma práxis social na história, dentro de sua realidade, que precisa ser transformada devido às exigências do Reino (cf. Mt 25,31-49), tendo diante dos olhos a esperança escatológica do vir-a-ser. Assim, a esperança escatológica requer uma escatologia contextualizada, como êxodo para o Reino definitivo, interpeladora da práxis social. Com esta reflexão, se realiza uma leitura do trabalho de tantos homens e mulheres inseridos nas comunidades de fé, profetas na promoção social, como verdadeiras testemunhas da esperança escatológica: “O Reino já chegou a vós” (Mt 12,28).</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong>: The hope is a theme that to emerges in the current days ahead of the situations where the human is submerged. This paper focuses Christian hope like an eschatological attitude of the Christian with the future of salvation that can not to be understood like a separate reality of the historic dimension. This paper synthetically and objectively relates Eschatological hope and social praxis: The hope in the exodus to the definitive Kingdom. The nucleus of this paper is around of the eschatological reflection of the “already” and of the “not yet”, that is an attempt for demonstrate how the Christian scatology requires of Christian a social praxis in the history, inside of his reality, that needs to be transformed because of the requirements of the Kingdom (Mt 25,31-49) having ahead of the eyes the eschatological hope of the coming-to-be. Therefore, the eschatological hope requires a contextualized scatology, as exodus for the definitive Kingdom, interpellator of the social praxis. With this reflection we may to make a reading of work of many men and women in the faith community, prophets in the social promotion like true witness of the eschatological hope: “The Kingdom arrived to you” (Mt 12,28).</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Hope.
