O Autor procura recuperar a singularidade de Jesus e a peculiaridade de sua missão, privilegiando a faceta da “relacionalidade”. Relendo os testemunhos neotestamentários, destaca a singular intimidade de Jesus com seu Pai e a sua integral solidariedade com o gênero humano. Um Deus assim, tão humano, frisa, continua provocando confusão e escândalo. “Mas, afinal de contas, a singularidade de Jesus e a peculiaridade de sua missão não residiriam justamente neste seu caráter radicalmente paradoxal?”

Abstract: The Author attempts to rescue the singularity of Jesus and the peculiarity of His mission, focusing, in particular, on the “relational” aspect. In a new reading of the New Testament testimonies, he focuses on the singular intimacy of Jesus with His Father and His total solidarity with the human species. He stresses the fact that the humanity of this God is such, that it still bewilders and even shocks us. And he asks: “But is it not true that Jesus’singularity and the peculiarity of His mission reside precisely in this radically paradoxical nature?”
